Our story
Espresso Roast began in 2017 with a single pasta roller, a charcoal grill, and a list of farmers we wanted to cook for. Eight years on, the room has grown β but the rhythm hasn't changed.
Every morning, the dough hits the counter by 9. Every evening, the fire is lit by 5. The menu is short on purpose: a few handmade pastas, a few cuts of meat, a few vegetable dishes, and a dessert that changes with the week.
We cook the food we want to eat β generous, slow, and unhurried β in a room that feels like the long table we never had growing up.
What people say
One of the most quietly extraordinary meals I've had this year. The short rib alone is worth the visit.
Espresso Roast feels like the dining room the neighborhood has been waiting for. Warm, precise, generous.
The pasta is hand-rolled at the counter. You can see it, smell it, taste it. That's the whole promise.

Two blocks from the river, across from the old cinema. Street parking and a small lot behind the building.
Reservations
We hold most tables for walk-ins, but reservations get the room by the window. Tell us when, and we'll have the candle lit.
